In the world of bread-making, “Crumbs” are the tiny, significant pieces that tell tales of craftsmanship, dedication, and tradition. They are the textured remnants left behind after a loaf has fulfilled its purpose, holding within them the essence of the baking process.
In artisanal bread-making, “Crumbs” denote the crumb structure, the inner texture that reveals the heart of the loaf. This structure, whether fine or open, speaks volumes about the techniques, ingredients, and care put into the dough’s fermentation, shaping, and baking.
It is with this Ethos we created a bakery inspired by the ancient forms of baking, bringing classical recipes back into the mainstream and using techniques handed down over generations to inspire new creations and adaptations.
